| Tom Rancour helps businesses improve safety, health and environmental (SHE) Culture, Processes and Systems (CPS) to achieve and sustain performance excellence. Tom is the former Corporate Director of Safety and Environmental Operations for Honeywell International, Inc., a $26B conglomerate with operations in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas. He has extensive experience across aerospace, automotive, chemical and industrial control industries. Since 2004, as President of Rancour & Associates, LLC, he has provided safety, health and environmental consulting services to many Fortune 500 Clients. He is an expert on strategy development and deployment, especially in helping executive leadership and management identify the ‘critical few’ actions they must take to drive SHE excellence.
Tom has helped businesses implement effective SHE management systems and solve a myriad of technical and organizational issues including safety vision and policy development, safety leadership training, defining and getting buy-in for SHE responsibilities, procedures development, risk assessment, preparedness and business continuity planning, contractor safety programs, injury and illness recordkeeping, and SHE governance and auditing methods.
Tom is a graduate of the University of Michigan's Rackham School of Public Health and Michigan State University where he earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Environmental and Industrial Health and a Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry, respectively. |
