| Kyle Dotson currently
serves as the President and Principal Consultant of the DOTSON Group, a safety and industrial hygiene management consulting firm based in San Jose, CA.
PREVIOUS CORPORATE ROLES - His 25 year career in safety, industrial hygiene and environmental management includes the large corporation leadership roles of:
- Vice President, EHS and Corporate Safety Officer of Calpine Corporation, a Fortune 500 electric power generation company based in San Jose, CA.
- Vice President for Health, Safety and Environment for mining for BHP Billiton of Australia, one of the world’s largest corporations.
- Director, Occupational Health and Safety, for the global mining and manufacturing company Phelps Dodge.
PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP -
Kyle Dotson has been a member of the ASSE for 24 years, is a Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, has served on the AIHA Board of Directors, and is currently a Trustee of the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation.
EDUCATION - Kyle holds a Master’s degree in environmental science from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Diplomate Environmental Engineer (DEE).
