| Biography |
| As principal consultant and project manager, Ken Schmerber brings 16 years of experience in engineering and health and safety to Hellman & Associates. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, Registered Engineer in Training, and holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Health/Industrial Hygiene. His combination of regulatory knowledge and technical capability allows him not only to conduct evaluations in such areas as industrial hygiene, asbestos management, and employee exposure monitoring, but also to develop customized software that assists companies with data analysis, reporting, and management. Ken has worked in industries ranging from aviation to pharmaceutical manufacturing, creating OSHA written programs and training on chemical hygiene, hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined space, electrical safety, along with many others. He has co?authored multiple publications on occupational health and safety and has been a repeat presenter at the annual American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Exposition. |
